Tomato Oden Hot Pot

Cook with large tomatoes. You can enjoy it in summer as well as winter.

Drop the tomatoes for seconds in boiling water to loosen their skin, then peel.
Place the peeled tomatoes into a pan. Pour the dashi, and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes. Season with salt to taste. Serve with karashi Japanese mustard or yuzu kosho citrus chili paste.
